Glad to hear you enjoyed Deus Ex!  I was one of the three programmers on that project, and later also worked on the PS2 version.

Yeah!  Here was my review from 20 years ago!  I gave it a 9.6 which was SUPER RARE!  I typically never gave games anything about a 9!  Vic gave it a 9.5

Also kinda funny that I was defending it against NOT have online multi-player!  See... I didn't like online multi-player back then either!   :)

I TOTALLY think you should do an Amico video with your WIFE!!  And she can berate you and yell at you the entire time!

And if she refuses to do it... then you should just play her roll and dress up in her clothes and get a wig!

haha.  I do have something in the works... not quite that... but yeh.  haha

I checked YouTube and found this!

Cued up to Tom Hall.  And right after... Warren Spector who also worked on Deus Ex which we talk about in the interview.

:)

Ha, that was fun to see, the Dallas offices were just nuts.  Very cool work environment on the top two floors of the Chase tower!  Looks like you did get down to Austin -- when was the interview with Warren filmed?  I may have already left to go to work at TiVo in California, but the whole tech bubble burst when I was out there (I managed to survive the first round of layoffs that took one-third of the company) but came back after about a year and a half and then got to work on the PS/2 version of Deus Ex (it basically had to be completely rewritten).

Awesome, I'll watch this later, glad you guys enjoyed the game!!  I still prefer single-player games versus online multi-player, for the most part.  We'll have to see if the Amico changes my mind on that at all. ;)

Its poorly written.

Last week we announced 3 huge retailers that have started pre-orders.  These stores will sell Amico consoles in retail stores and online. In the U.S., we announced GameStop, who will carry 3 different variants of Amico INCLUDING a timed exclusive for our Galaxy Purple Limited Edition.

off the top of my head using my old ad copy skills wouldnt the following sound more professional ...

We are proud to announce that the world's largest retail gaming destination Gamestop has joined Amico's worldwide chain of leading retailers and online partners. Coming later this year Gamestop will offer 3 different styles of Amico along with a timed exclusive, The Amico Galaxy Purple Limited Edition. Stay tuned for more information as it becomes available.

Nice.  One day, my friend wanted to have a one day home run record...we went through so many official wiffle balls, we went to the kind with no holes, then even stooped to using plastic practice gold balls at the end of the day.  My buddy hit like 80 something homers that one day....not too many with the plastic golf balls.  Good times.  Then we may have gone for some personal records on Intellivision Burgertime that night...

Back in the Sixties, we would see who could stick the most jarts in their best friend.

I just bought the original Deus Ex on GOG and played through it these past couple of weeks for the first time. Incredible! I really enjoyed it :)

UPDATE!

Yes!  This will be present at launch!!

1 - 5 star rating and will show how many people have rated it.  Will NOT include written reviews (like Amazon).  Keeping it super simple (and don't want to screen bad language, etc.)  :)

I would give it no stars but they sure fixed that, didn't they!

There was a hair in my Frog Bog! Everybody knows frogs have no hair!

Powerless, the planned launch date has just started to slip through our fingers ...  😪

If there is a delay, hopefully it will be out before Christmas 🎄

A new interview with Tommy, 56 minutes long.

I am beginning to look at it. Seems a positive approach.

Nice interview.  I liked the part about data protection.  Also the Amico mini idea was interesting.

@Tommy Tallarico looking forward to you and your wife playing this in your house in order for you to get sound recordings like you did with your indoor Cornhole board. 👍🏻

I would only buy this game if we can hit each other after the 3rd inning... which is the REAL purpose of those bats. All kids used these bats on each other. Don't lie! 😈

It's the same with hot wheels tracks! They made great whips on the legs.

I just thought of something really cool. Since the games are all $10 or less, this will be the first system (except the N64 that launched with 2 games ..........lol) that I can afford  and WANT to buy all of the launch games on day 1 !!!

It would also be cool if there was a special day one  “press one button” special to buy all of the games at once. I’ll buy them all anyway 😜

How do you know?

There may be a restaurant game where you'll have to do battle with Karens.

Lawn darts were no joke, we were nuts but we even looked at those things as kids and said, " who the hell would make these for families"  Even if played correctly you could kill someone.  Lawn darts is where we drew the line.... and thats saying something
