Atomic bombs is also on that list. Just got to get close...

Just think that if you're an expert you get stuck with the small Horseshoes and your kid or parents get Da Bomb!  Be hard to beat them then.  Hahahahaha

I don't think I'm aware of any cornhole video game. Pretty sure there was an arcade horseshoe game.

Target Toss Pro: Bags

Arcade 2007, and Wii (motion control) 2008

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Target_Toss_Pro:_Bags

There's also lots of android/ios cornhole games.  Taito did make a horseshoes arcade game, trackball control, Atari Games had one as well.

What are the pack in games?  The various articles I have read was that the named pack in titles have been rolled back to one? ⛷

and I am not going to search through hundreds of posts.  I was asking for details much like the other posts

At least 5 pack-in games will be released at E3.  There isn't a single post that I'm aware of or read that said we "rolled back" to one pack-in.  Doesn't exist.  You must have misunderstood or misread something.  No need to go back through hundreds of posts... it never happened.

Is there anyone in here who at any time believed or read that we rolled back from 5 pack-in games to just one?  Does anyone ever remember anyone ever saying that?  I don't... and I've read every Amico post in here over the past year.

But that wasn't really my question. You changed the subject.  You said the pack in games were filler.  Not that it was just one game (which has never been said).

So now you've assumed that we only have one game... and/or that the games are filler.  Both are completely untrue and have never been spoken about in this forum.

So there ya go... there's the answers you were looking for.  Hope that helps.

Excellent.  My impression was that there were announced named games that had been removed.  The replacement games would have been filler

Thank you for the clarification. I must have misunderstood. This would have helped earlier.

They had five games selected for packins but didn't announce all of them.  They said one of those five is being reconsidered, didn't say which one.  If it's being replaced with a different title, why would you assume it's filler?

Anyway it looks like games like horseshoes, cornhole, lawn bowling, darts, and others have all been done on Wii with motion control. Maybe not done very well but have been done.

When the titles names are not announced or removed and there is talk of horseshoes, darts, etc it sorta gives me the impression.

Believe it or not, there is an NES homebrew cornhole game that uses the power pad fitness mat called “Tailgate Party”. I don’t think that really counts though. Likely sold a few thousand carts.

All the games talk Tommy has done are things he’d like to do, things he plans to do. He’s always said they would pull or delay stuff if it wasn’t going to be as good as he wants it by go time. So, everything you hear about games or see on Wikipedia is about 70-80% likely and always has been. Some of it may be misunderstanding as when Tommy says, “Sure, you bet!” he means “I would love that”, not “I guarantee it.”

It was said that the fifth pack-in is something that's not been done before, that would mean it's not any of those.  You can't go by what some anonymous guy on the internet says.

Some of the games on wikipedia have expected release years, some do not.  They're all based on stuff that has been said in interviews.  Everything is subject to changes of course.  If something on Wikipedia is not accurate feel free to correct it.

It’s all been announced 90% in interviews, but 80% has like 20 to 80% uncertainty. I hate to try to sift through it all. Maybe someone at IE can sort the Wikipedia game list out. The rest of us are just mostly guessing.

That is why I'm not listing everything under the sun. Just because they have the rights to make a 1000 games doesn't mean they will.

SNAFOO, Astrosmash, and Frog Bog all came from posts from Tommy. I'm sure there are other games being worked on no on my list, but I'd rather play catch up than list EVERYTHING.

The next game footage video will probably be helpful.

For example, Night Driver, Yar's Revenge, Sky Diver, Centipede, Tempest, Adventure are all Atari titles that they have been licensed and have been officially named in a press release.  None of them are on the Wikipedia list because there has been no information about their status.

I can guarantee about 50% - 75% of the Wikipedia list is from that one 3 hour interview where he he listed or commented on about 50 games and several of us made lists of the games that were listed as likely or not likely.

Yeah there were tons of games mentioned. I think it's great they have the opportunity to remake so many games. It will be fun to see how many they get to/don't get cancelled.

I was looking at the studios they have on their press release and was trying to match the games they create with what could be one the Amico. One studio (Bonus Level Entertainment) has a game called Fox n Forests.  It look really cool and I hope it gets an Amico exclusive make over

At least 5 pack-in games? I'm guessing this was a typo or something, but I wouldn't complain if we got more than 5!

Originally I believe it was possibly 7, if I remember correctly.

Not a typo.  Could me more than 5.  :)

If certain components continue to get scarce and drive prices up a little on the console... then including MORE pack-in games would be a good way to bring that value back.

Remember I started the sentence with the word "IF".

Keep in mind... everything I say in here is conversational and always unconfirmed until I confirm it officially through our social media outlets, website, etc.

You guys are getting a "real" time thought process and inner happenings as it unfolds.  And although some people insist on holding everything I say in here against me because I said something a month ago and then something changes... I will still continue to do so because I think it's fun and interesting for the majority of folks here and it causes more interest and discussion among the folks currently paying attention... and... I like to interact with mostly like-minded people who share a passion for Intellivision and/or retro gaming and a place I can bounce certain ideas off of to get a feel of what the "retro" crowd react to (not that it's our biggest target market... but still interesting to get feedback).

Well it is going to be 5 right now. Guessing there will be no more official pack in announcements until E3. So, that leaves us with Skiing.

Guessing SNAFOO wasn't going as planned. Wonder if Astrosmash's future is up in the air too?

Wonder if Shark! Shark! Is being considered for being included with the system. It might be one of the best options for a party game system seller.
