Hahahhaa!!  Not sure which one I like the best.  The footbath or Oscar the Grouch in the trashcan!  Although the @OEB_Pete logo on the box in the back is up there as well!

I love it right beside the hobbit foot :)

Here's the panel I was a part of last week at the India Gaming Conference talking about Hollywood/Bollywood in gaming.  An honor to be on a panel with such extremely high profile CEO's.

Some very cool insight from all the panelists and everyone was in agreement as to the best way to make great games based on big movie licenses.

Here is a prediction of what I see according to different articles and interviews since the beginning of the year.

Night Stalker will be completed, but not available at launch. It will be made available for November, and will be the first game at $11.99 with more levels expected than initially !

So everyone will have 1 month to play all games available at launch, and everyone will be looking forward to the release of Night Stalker and it will be a great success.

I don't know if they should price Night Stalker at $11.99, especially a month after the console's release...but judging by what you said (and who Liked the post), I'm guessing that will be the case.

Light guns don't work on new TV's anymore.  There are different and new ways to do it.  But putting a gun in kids hands in the 21st century with everything going on in the world... would probably not be considered family family.
Especially for our target audience.

It's sad to think how much has changed sense the 80's

I hope not. I wouldn’t mind personally but it just seems way too soon to go over the 9.99 price point........way too soon. “Trust and value” enough said.

Three months is usually seen as the "launch window" for a game system. Perhaps if Night Stalker were moved to, let's say January, that would work?

(Though personally, I'd love to have the game sooner, whatever the price.)

I think there's a new Amico video coming out today for Dynablaster.  I hope they show the controller being used.  OEB Pete was the one who mentioned about there being an Amico video for 3/15.  So, I was just going by what he said.

Hi all,

This is more for the newer people in the forum here and to clarify a few questions I have had in my head:

What is the difference between the VIP/Gamestop/standard and Founders Editions of the console? Besides color, of course.  Also when does/did the VIP edition become the "standard" pre-order Amico?

Enquirering minds want to know.

To my understanding, subject to correction:

FE is the original pre-order limited to the first 2600 orders. All are woodgrain, signed and numbered by Tommy, come with digital and physical soundtrack albums, a $50 Amico metal laser etched gift card, lapel pin and team signed lenticular poster and were sold for $299.

VIP is your choice of current colors, comes with standard $25 Amico gift card (non-metal/laser etched), lenticular poster and digital albums, selling for $249

Gamestop special addition (they also sell other colors) is $279, is galaxy purple (exclusively for now) and comes with standard $25 gift card.

Not sure when they closed the VIP’s (think there was advanced notice within this thread at the time) and think they hit around 10,000+ VIP orders. To my knowledge, all current purchases are now just pre-orders (same config as will be able to be bought at retail at launch).

Yeah. Like the actual crime rate going down by half. And the cable news reporting of violent crime went up in the same period.

What about an Amico modern controller. You can still have a screen on it and motion control

If you're going to copy a modern controller, at least copy from the best. Xbox controllers... they're why I don't buy Playstation anything. What good are the games if the controller sucks?

Right for White and Black.

For Wood Grain, it's $274.99  or $279.99.

Hearts! Why aren't you picking them up! 😂

You win that game by picking up the hearts that help you get through the obstacles and climb up the building!

Hearts, and finding that rhythm in the game. She got that last tip by herself just after playing 5 minutes when she mentionned the time he's up in the air after jumping.

Hi Tommy,

Has Intellivision Entertainment decided on when Woodgrain founders can expect to receive a bill?

Tommy had mentioned this a few times. Basically once it is closer to shipping they will contact all of the Founders Editions order holders and make sure they have an updated address on file. This allows them to calculate the correct shipping, taxes and such and determine the final amount owed after the deposit. Just guessing, but this would probably occur sometime in the 2nd half of September (i.e. within a month of the ship date).
