Remember, Amico is being marketed in other countries so there will need to be other flags offered, not just the good ole Stars and Stripes (but yes the flag is a good overlay!)

So, an update from me on R-Type: I got my R-Type Final 2 the day before launch day and I beat it before it was released. Then I turned the difficulty up and beat it again. R-Type Final 2 was excellent, just as I hoped it would be. I hope whoever does Amico R-Type makes something that is at least as good as Final 2 is. If you guys can talk to Granzella and get them to make it, even better, as they are mostly former Irem staff like Kujo (who did In the Hunt, R-Type Delta, R-Type Final, R-Type Final 2, and also Metal Slug over at Nazca), but they are apparently working on more content for Final 2 for the next 2 years or something, so maybe not possible.

Wrong. This game is designed for psvr. It will never beat the psvr version until psvr 2 comes out

I agree, he really is a master at Photoshop, but I don't think CurlyQ will have a hard time coming up with something just as good, if not better, on May 4th.

You must be thinking of Astro Bot: Rescue Mission for PSVR. This Astro's Playroom game is an entirely separate title.

Both Returnal and Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart look amazing. One thing I love about modern 3D games is how they run smoothly and you can view very distant objects and building thanks to the drawing distance (I would have killed for this in my PS1 days).

I do, however, feel that both games could be ported to the PS2 by simply removing some graphical and secondary features (resolution, polygon count, framerate, drawing distance, special vibration...). And they would basically play the same.

Imagine if when the Dreamcast came out in 1998 you could say "oh, these games could also have been programmed for the Atari 2600". It's a weird feeling, like they're trying to sell me the same thing over and over and over.

Just kind of interesting: With the Sports/Rec overlays, Intellivision went with probably the 3 most popular casual sports in North America (and also very unisex sports) and not the top 3 most watched sports (like football, basketball, baseball or hockey). It looks like they are targeting the person's hobbies over what they might watch for entertainment.

Also why 3 overlays? Of course, it could be to give some variety in case you don't like one of the images, but I wonder if Intellivsion market research shows that the average Amico buyer is going to end up with 3 controllers?

Also just some pop marketing psychology here but I wonder if these are divided roughly (not to say anyone can't like any of these) into

Yes. I played the new astro playroom on my friends ps5, and felt like a port imho

1. Is the cat sword fighting game from the very first gameplay trailer still in active development?

2. Do you consider a game based on the Miraculous brand one day? My daughter absolutely adores that tv show. (And Ladybug for sure has some Spiderman vibes I would say.)
