Well, just after 5 months from contracting COVID, I’m finally going back to work tomorrow😁. Its been a long haul to date and have a bit to go, but continuing to get better week by week.

Been hitting some good milestones of late; off oxygen during the day 6 weeks ago, off oxygen at night 2 weeks ago, returned oxygen to vendor late last week (meaning any issues going forward is a 911 call, but don’t think that’s happening), going back to work tomorrow is a big one and also just did my first mile long walk since December (was typically doing 2-4 miles 3-4 times a week before getting sick).  Will be working toward my goal of 4 miles in 80 minutes, then back into the water for some paddling. Might be a little longer but I’ll get there. We all have our own mountains to climb.

Thanks (and sorry) Tommy for having to perpetually postpone my wife collecting her Moon Patrol Contest Prize. We’ll see you in July and we are both really looking forward to it.

Damn that sounds rough. I wish there was a hug response in the comment response emoji list because it would be applicable. Glad you are almost over that stuff and can start getting back to a semblance of normal.

I know there's a lot of Mattel nostalgia here, but why is nobody asking for Hyperscan ports? :-D
Interesting to me, to watch this, but I guess most readers here already know a lot about it?

The serious use of RFID "media" was something I had totally missed, but very interesting!

I've never played this (or heard of it) but I agree on Wii Sports type of all around sports game for everyone.

I'd like to see something along the lines of that, using classic Intellivision icons like a Bot from Nightstalker, the Running Man, the Chef from Burgertime, Flynn from Tron Deadly Discs, the Thin Ice Penguin... etc.

Even a re-imaged Decathlon or Track and Field would be good.

This looks like a lot of fun to play.   Simple, and competitive for everyone.

I don't see it on the current slate, but what about a re imagined Haunted House?

You mean the 2600 game?  That would be a lot of fun!

Agreed, even as just a holiday mini game. This one is one of those simple, but classic concept games - it deserves a remake.

Yes. The Sequel isn't bad. (Return to Haunted House). There was a Wii remake of it. Not horrible either.. Not Great. The original still is a lot of fun.I especially loved the fact that you were two eyes wandering around in the dark.  Just like in the cartoons. Not to mention that the game was a lot of fun to play.  I was hoping that there would be some others that loved  Haunted House like I did.

This was on the radar  in the category of " I need to see more in order to make a decision."  After watching the video, it's still not on the "Have to buy" list. Yet.  When I see a later build, I'm sure I'll like it even better. I love that Tommy was confident enough in a1 year old build, to show it off to the general publi.  I also chuckled  at the mentioning of the wall lag... (Wal-Lag-Gate... It'll be a thing)

Who am I kidding,  once the lag is fixed on the wall.. I'll end up buying it.

Tommy,

Since you're bringing Atari/Imagic games to Amico, it would be nice to have T-shirts for them.

I believe they'll need to get a makerting license with them if they want to to that

You are in good company.  Atari Haunted House fan right there!  I always thought this game was a good successor to Adventure.  I believe Tommy had them both on the Amico list.  I can't wait to play those two!

Good to know!  Glad you enjoyed it.  Will definitely be speaking to them about it.

Alright, great. Hopefully they'll be interested in doing it. I just got my first 1CC and also my first no miss on R-Type Final 2 today, but this game gets incredibly difficult on the higher settings and I'm nowhere near done with the game, especially since I have 3 systems to play it on.

I genuinely think this is a good fit for the new Intellivision. The game looks like it fits in with games from that era. I say that as a compliment. This is exactly what I want from this console. It looks like something my family/friends and I can play for a few and laugh. I know it might be catering to young gamers, but it's an awesome update to the classics for older (um... More mature?) gamers too. I would seriously love to see an updated, multiplayer Dodge em from the Atari 2600.

There's a good reason why these things are called "AAAHHH!"

This is great!  I love the inclusion of Tron!  Can someone please explain the obsession of TAB on this forum to me?  My only memory of it was trying it in the 80's and it reminded me of Pepsi gone flat! 🤢

That is an awesome idea!  Tommy, is there any chance that more Atari games could be brought over and remade in the future?

If there was a physical media version of Shark Shark, I'd want the covers to be reversible... And the 2nd cover be  AAAAHHHH! AAAAAHHHHH!

Yeah, could be a possibility for sure.  We're starting with their 12 biggest titles and after they are out and how well received, we'll see where it goes from there.
