Hey Tommy, here's a cool idea:

- Release the Amico version of Net Yaroze/Dreams

- Since it's too complex for a normal game and removes the S from SAFE, make it available only with a special code sent after a web purchase to avoid casuals accidentally buying it

- Put a simplified version of Unity with access to the Amico controller

- As in Net Yaroze/Dreams, the only way to play the games would be via the same development program

- Make game contests and publish the best one periodically

Yes !!! I always wanted to see a proper remake of adventure and warlords is an awesome multiplayer game !!!!  Super excited ! Will either of those be a launch title ? 
 

Is their any chance of knowing the other 10 Atari games you have the license for ? I know you might not be able to say but I would LOVE to know all 10 .....or maybe a few more since you like to tease ! Lol 😂

We are changing the color names of the black and white consoles because we decided that we're going to do them in MATTE finishes (the main bodies) what satin highlights.  They look SO COOL!!!

 

So Obsidian Black and Glacier White didn't work anymore (because those things are very shiny/glossy, etc.).

 

I wanted to keep it nature based for the black & white versions so the new names are...

 

Graphite Black (love that one!)

and

Ivory White

 

It will be in our press release on Tuesday... but thought I'd sprinkle a little info in here for everyone. 

 

 

Matte finishes?  Great change.  This day just keeps getting better and better.  Love the name "Graphite Black."

Yeah... we're thinking about 6... maybe even 7!!  If we are forced to have the retail price be higher because components are getting more expensive by the day (because of Corona) then I'll make up for it with more pack-in stuff!  

Can you believe that no other game console has come with 2 separate controllers as the base unit in 30 years!!  The Super Nintendo was the last one I believe (not including special bundles or the Switch controller which is just one controller that you can split into two.)  Someone correct me if I'm mistaken.

Some folks try to convince me to keep the price at $199 and only have one controller.  Heck no!  Won't do it.  Not going to force people to pay money just for a 2nd controller.  Goes against everything we're about.  The phone app controls are fine for about half the games... but you really want the REAL controller if you can.

One question. The credit card I used for the deposit for my FE was hacked and cancelled. We don’t need to use the same credit card to pay the balance right ?

No... not those on launch.  PONG & Missile Command are definitely on launch... potentially Breakout as well.

All 12 Atari games were in one of our first press releases:

I dare any Animal Activist to come after a 13 year vegan about a name. 

We had "Cloud" and "Pearl" on the list... but some folks may associate Cloud with "the cloud"... as in Google Stadia. 

Pearl is more "pearlescent" which we are still considering and see what it looks like with a Matte finish.  So might still be on the table later down the road (depending on what it looks like).  Then again... pearls are "unvegan" as well.... so we'll always be pissing off someone at some point. 

I had Coconut White on the top of my list at one point.  Thought it was kinda fun.

Correct.  You will be asked at the time of final purchase what kind of payment you'd like to use.

Tommy you mentioned about having extra Amico controllers available for purchase as well as making them in 2 packs. Do you think that this is something that would be available on launch and are the controllers going to be available in different colours...wood grain, purple, etc?

The initial plan was to have them on launch.  But Corona may change that.  Still not sure.  We are pushing for it.

this press release names several of the licenses from Atari and other games as well

 My wife made this for me in her art class!! We’re pretty stoked for the Amico here!! Hopefully everything is still going good with everything going on!
