There's supposed to be a full level coming later on.  Yes, more trailers are good.  I can't wait for the next one.

Here's some interesting news.

Sony just revealed their PS5 controller.  There was rumor that it was going to replace the touch pad with a touch screen.

They didn't.

Kinda glad.  That way we can really be unique with everyone having info and separate info, etc.

I'm surprised they didn't.

You can't have 2 (or more) Amico's with the same account.  (i.e. 2 Amico's in one household).  So in that instance, you would need to bring the controller from one room to the other Amico to get access to the games on the first Amico.  Shouldn't really be an issue.

Hi Tommy, can you help me picture how I will best make use of exactly the situation of 2 active consoles in the same household?  I'm picturing there's the "main" system in the living room that the family games together on, but there's also a secondary one in my study that I mostly solo on.

I get that I can bring the 'main' controller between the two for my content, but if we want to have both in use separately for whatever reason, will I need a separate account for the system in the study, and am I now faced with an issue of having multiple accounts where high scores are concerned and such?

I understand this is squarely #FirstWorldProblems area here, but I ordered a VIP follow-on to my FE order as a convenient way to have 4 controllers and a spare system in another room in case others are using the family room for something other than Amico (perish the thought!), but starting to wonder if a 2nd system is going to be more hassle than it's worth.

Anyway, while a fringe case, I doubt I'll be the only one with more than one active console in a household, so what is the vision for how that situation will work?

That really happen?  I don't see anything saying it's photoshopped, so guessing it's real.  I'm no expert (although I do have a good eye for these things) but it look pretty legit to me.

I have mixed feelings about the PS5 controller.

Though I will say every time I see the Amico controller I just get it.  I get the design,  the look, the way the curves will fit your hands and fingers and how the simplicity matches the core philosophy of simple, affordable, family entertainment.

With the PS5 controller I see some of the design choices but I can't quite figure it all out.  It looks kind of cool.

Let me try to explain.

There were two systems I preordered in my life.  The PS2 and the Nintendo DS.

Both went on to be the best selling consoles for their market (home and handheld).

I wasn't a genius or a fortune teller but I saw what they were in their design and I got it instantly.  The design spoke to the idea and a casual person like me could understand it immediately.

I kind had that feeling with the Wii and its Wiimote and nunchuk design but I didnt pull the trigger. I guess it may have lacked that extra something to me.

With the Amico I see that same spark of design and functionality that I saw in the PS2 and DS.

I preordered the Amico.

Now, I'm not saying it will become the best selling system but I'm not saying it won't.

What I am saying that people like me will see it and "get it" (understand it) without too much thought.

That helps a lot; when a controller or system can be explained with a simple picture of it.  A sort of "it is what it's designed to be".

I think the design speaks loudly in the PS2, DS and now the Amico.

I just don't think the PS5 controller is speaking loud enough to me (if that makes sense).

I'm not going to worry about it. Last Playstation I bought was a PS2. I thought the VR might get me to buy one, but not yet. Maybe PS6.

I believe people think I'm silly when I say the Amico is the last system I'll collect for.

I guess it just comes down to the fact that I have enough games for my other systems.

Will I buy a game or two for my ps4?  Probably. But I won't actively be collecting or seeking out games. I figure if I just settle in and play what I currently own I'll be pretty happy and content for a long long time.

With all the DLC out there, how much of the game is actually on the disk you collect now?

Well I'm on the fence on the ps5 controller mainly because I thought it was going to have an oled screen on it so it made me think it would open up new ideas hint hint Amico.  But this pic shoots that down. Now its not all bad though.  It just means this aspect wont be trying to take away the thunder from the intellivision.  As for the controller on the amico.  Im with you 110% anyone who dogs it, well is narrow minded moron lol lacking any of the slightest of imagination.  No the Amicos controller is to me a game changer.  And I cant wait ro get my mits on it.

Yeah.  The one thing I don't understand about haters is they seem to like only one thing or one system.

That's totally not the case with many on here. I see people on here who like the Amico talk about their love of ps4 and ps5 and some talk about growing up and loving Nintendo and even xbox.

Isn't being a gamer simply mean you like games.

When did being a gamer mean you HAD to like one system and only one system.

As for PS5, I was looking forward to it late last year but my enthusiasm waned.

Anything the new systems can play my ps3 and ps4 already play.

And I'm pretty burned out on the constant remakes...didnt I just buy that game on the ps3??? Why do I have to get the ps4 version?

Sure i did fall for it a number if times but it just got old.

I do hope Sony and Microsoft both do well.

But for me the Amico is the new gold standard.

The haters that read posts here can mock me if they'd like.

Having a fun game to play with family and friends beats state of the art graphics anyday.

Isn't that what all games should strive for beyond anything else?  Fun

I’d suggest keeping everything on one system; high scores, purchases, etc.; you might even be able to marry all 4 controllers to one system.  When you get high scores on your second system, sounds like they would be updated on the primary once the controllers were re-linked. I’d be curious for this as well, as i haven't ruled out the GTO Red as a second system myself.

I asked a question that answers this I think. I asked if I bring my controller to a friends and get some high scores, will those scores be updated on my system when I get home. The answer from Tommy was yes. But I am guessing that if they want to play Games on both systems at the same time, you would need 2 copies of each ?

I know whatcha mean.  I recently snagged a copy of Night Stalker on Intellivision, and now it looks like I'm gonna have to get the Amico version.  *sighs*

 The struggle is real.
