Nice! I promised myself to start learning Unity when things slow down

cool, just jump in, sort of like a pool. For me I found it easiest to look at a couple games that were similar to what I wanted to do at first, and find ones you can look at, and pull apart.  At least for me, I found it easier to start by looking at and pulling apart code that already exist then to start from a blank slate. Then once you get one or two games under your belt, then you can start blank and are off and running. IIRC I pulled apart a couple of billard games 15+ years ago, Ive been off and running since, its hard at first but gets easier like anything else.  Good Luck, its a lot of fun when you can do it in your spare time and dont have financial pressures on you. :)

Devastating news. And way too young. Not sure any of us who are music fans will forget the first time we heard Eddie Van Halen. There was nothing else like it. A true original.

It's hard to believe he's gone.  I liked a few of his songs.  My favorite is "Dreams".  Eddie Van Halen, you will never be forgotten.  Thank you for the great music and memories.  Rest in peace.

Sad for someone who created so much joy to have to struggle so much. Just reading a couple weeks ago about how he struggled with cancer several years in the late nineties and then again the last five years. He will leave a worldwide legacy through his gifts to us.

It's something we would let someone sell as a 3rd party peripheral if someone wanted to create it and sell it.  Not something we are currently developing, but agree that it would be super cool.  Unfortunately I believe the market for something like that would only be a few thousand people.  We are more focused on the tens of millions (and working on some cool peripherals for the masses).  But I do agree that it would be pretty awesome.  Backwards compatibility for 40 year old software!

I love the little Bold nugget above.  I wonder what cool peripherals are being worked on?  I know about the specialized buttons that can be connected screen. Tommy mentioned those a few hundred pages back. But what else?!?!? I mentioned the headgear attachment that you can put the two controllers in front of your face for AmicoVR (VRAmico?)tm   A 32x like attachment that will give the Amico Unlimited Power. Connect a few together to make a Mega Zord Amico? The Amico Super Game Module (Remember Colecovision?). We can call that the Super Amico Module... SAM for short.  I'll stop there...

I actually said it exactly like that as I wrote it down.  I haven't been able to do the lightning for a while.  But on a real dry day, when I rub my socks on the carpet....

I may not post much.. But I do read almost everything. What a great dysfunctional family we have! All good families have a few of those wacky cousins that just make you scratch your head. I won't name names, but we do certainly have a few of those . :) You all make me laugh.

Here are a couple of ideas, but I am holding out for that Unlimited Power attachment (divert your eyes @CurlyQ, bad Photoshop ahead):

Bass - John Entwistle

Drums/Percussion - Neil Peart

Lead Guitar/Keyboards - Eddie Van Halen

Vocals - Presently Jesus Christ, but will be filled at a later date.

RIP... but God is putting together the most colossal Rock Band the Heavens have ever seen!  It's obvious he loves Hard Rock...
