No one will ever play a guitar like he did... ever again.  Only Hendrix, Page, Allman, Lifeson, Rhodes, and a very small handful of others could play to his level... but never shred like he could.  Even Malsteem, Satriani and Vai couldn't hold a candle to Eddie.  Not only was he amazing, he was quiet and simple... the smile was all it took.  No other drama, or antics.  Just pure focus and blazing speed like no one else on this planet.

At age 60... he was faster than men 40 years younger.  That's when you know he was a purist and a master at his art.   When you're 18, young and dedicated...it's easy.  At 60... arthritic joints in his fingers, tendons not as elastic, hands hardened from age... and he plays it all like he was 20 again.  Look at the stretch... the pinky working the strings with speed and accuracy.. all masterful technique.

Fucking unreal... and on a level all his own.  That was Eddie.

All good families have a few of those wacky cousins that just make you scratch your head

And if your think your family doesn't have one, then you yourself must be the wacky cousin.

Bass - John Entwistle

Drums/Percussion - Neil Peart

Lead Guitar/Keyboards - Eddie Van Halen

Vocals - Presently Jesus Christ, but will be filled at a later date.

RIP... but God is putting together the most colossal Rock Band the Heavens have ever seen!  It's obvious he loves Hard Rock...

Eruption tends to get a lot of attention (and it is great), but songs like this and Spanish Fly showed that Eddie was more than just a shredder when it came to solo pieces.

Who here wants to guess at what the new demo might be?  I'm hoping it's Breakout.

I’m thinking Breakout too but just to go with an off the wall guess I hope it’s Horse Racing it’d be fun to see how that is going to be it’s a game I am very much looking forward to as it’s one my dad and I played a ton

I’m assuming breakout, but would love to see skiing (well, actually, would love to see Night Stalker, but do not think it would translate well to mobile).

We have developers all over the world and all over the U.S.  The budgets do vary greatly and most of our games cost over $100K.  I totally understand and hear what you're saying... but just wanted to throw in a global view as well as it is definitely very possible.  The creator of Undertale (Toby Fox) was asking for $50,000 to create it.  It ended up making him millions and millions of dollars.  I've seen some amazing games made by teams of 3 or 4 people.  Again, not the norm... but they are definitely out there.

Could this possibly mean we could be seeing Undertale and Deltarune on the system?!

Well, if the Amico will be able to let us play our old Intellivision games (and therefore the Atari ones by plugging into the peripheral the old Intellivision System Changer) and, moreover, it will be open to the whole homebrewers' community I think it gonna be really cool!

I know it will be breakout.. But I can hope for Tempest...  Considering it hasn't even been started yet.. I know it MAY be a long shot.

Along with the new Demo.. Can we have some last minute predictions on some of the games shown? Are we going to get a bit more Earthworm Jim? Are we going to see Warlords? More Bomb Squad? Demon Attack? Adventure?

Hey Tommy Tallarico...

In your Sister's memory and for a great Intellivision 10/10 event tomorrow, I set one of our clocks to a permanent 10:10 today.

Hope you and your team have a great day tomorrow.

TJ & Rainbow... ;-)

Oh wow... just wow... and please take my word for it... I just noticed Kit Kat clock in the back, also not working, and I did not touch it... what time does show... 10:20... so there is the 10/10/20..... 10s and 20s showing how well tomorrow's event will be in honor of Tommy's sister too.  How neat our lives work some times and things.... Just... Happen!

Like Magic!!

I'm predicting more Imagic games.

That would be nice. I really loved back in the day when companies had such a strong visual identity in their box art, and obviously Imagic was one of them.

I’m looking forward to seeing Imagic games on the Amico. (And I hope that, eventually, the originals will be part of the retro packages.)
