Fun stuff. Even with 40 years of hindsight and technological improvements, it's going to be hard to overcome those first impressions. 
 

With the Wii U, some older people had difficulty switching between the two focal lengths -- the thing on the screen at middle/far distance, and the handheld screen at close distance. 
 

Family fun games that require looking in both places to succeed will require good progressive lenses and highly adaptive brains, which may not be for everybody. 

 

I've been wanting to do the same thing with my family and Jackbox. I got all of them cheap for Steam from a Humble Bundle.

 

I was thinking about how it could be similar to the DS but you had both screens right there next to each other. It could more easily function like the WiiU did with Splatoon. Before a match started you could play a mini game.

 

So for example between different moons in Moon Patrol you could play a minigame on the small screen while traveling. There would be something on the big screen but gameplay would be in your hand. Similar thing to the alluded to pit stops in the racing games. When at a pit stop you could be using the touch screen to change tires in a minigame etc. Just a thought.

Back to mobile, one my favorite is family feud , especially  playing against troll families... lol 

I don’t know. Maybe you should ask yourself that question because trolling seems to be all you have been doing on this thread.

I think when they start releasing the original games it will be harder without the tactile. But it has been said there will be a way to tell where you are on the controller. Not sure if there is a tiny bubble or dot in the center you can feel. I'm sure they are working on it or have it figured out.

 

For all the new and reimagined stuff I doubt it would be a problem.

That’s still pretty hard with the physical keypad. Sometimes I think I’m on the clear button when I’m actually on number seven. I can’t imagine how they can make it any better.

Fun game! Got an old feel but still feels fresh. I've only played the first one on NDS, but with the second screen it is a great example of what could be done.
