Thoughts on getting Mike Tyson for Intellivision Amico Boxing?

Think it would cost Tommy an ear to get him for Amico.

It would probably be better to get a modern boxer for the game. Tyson screams more retro and that isn't what Amico is about right? Unfortunately I've not kept up with boxing in recent years so I don't have any suggestions. 😅

Tyson Fury is Heavyweight Champ now. He just knocked out Wilder. Who would have thought we would have an Irish Heavyweight Champion. I don't think either one of these guys would last three rounds with Mike Tyson in his prime.

Who thinks a cooking game would be a great addition to the games line up?

You could slice the ingredients on the controller's screen a la Fruit Ninja and then "toss" them in the pot or pan on the T.V.

You could even use the controller like the handle of the pan and flip pancakes with the motion control.

Then orders would come in more frantic until you felt like that chocolate conveyor belt episode of 'I Love Lucy'.

Two player co op or versus would be fun and 4 player would be crazy. 😅

Some major real life skill sets absent from a lot of young people today. If a cooking game will help inspire/teach them how to cook in real life, I'm all for that!

Americas Test Kitchen on DS was neat. Worth the $2 new I bought it for. Don't think it would revolutionize the cooking world.

Oh shit, and that's been out for a while! So why can't so many people boil water without producing soggy Ramen Noodles or follow directions on a box or can?  🤣

If you're not going to learn, execute and practice anything worth while as it relates to real life experiences, may as well just keep playing Burgertime and Pressure Cooker!   🤣

And when it comes to gardening, Dig Dig is your Bible!

Um, requires reading perhaps? Also doesn't help when the directions don't always give you the results and you have to adjust.

Yeah... the package clearly states to boil the water first. THEN add those janky pre-fried noodles. Stir with your fork for 3 whole minutes and voila!!

Regular store bought pasta is similar. When they start floating and no longer doing the boogedy-shoop, you know they're done. Oh, and here's another free tip... if you're so remiss and the water starts to boil/froth over... sprinkle some salt atop and reduce heat. There... that's just about all you need to know about boiling pasta. lol

Experience... check for firmness in between if still in doubt.

BTW: Cooking Mama is so sexist. Where in the hell is Cooking Papa? ...right here! :ponder:   ;)

For the turbo-nerds, yes - I know... boiling water and "cooking" pasta is not rocket science. Trying to make a point is all. You can unravel your undies now.
