Yep, snacks & drinks. Last one told my wife this probably wouldn't last more than an hour or two - should be to bed soon... midnight thirty later...

I 100% understand and agree with you on all the point you described. By the way it would been really cool meet you in Rome and maybe shake your hand. If you will have in mind to come to Rome for Amico past 10/10 please let us know!

For the Founders Edition: luckly i'm not (so) obsessed about having games or consoles exactly at "dayone" so I can wait till it will be delivered... :)

You can't really complain, Tommy... Thanks to this topic you have special agent 008 in Spain, special agent 009 in Italy, a double agent in France and several high-profile experts infiltrated in Canada... We really should recruit some Chinese and Indian guy though, we must think of the numbers. 🌍🚁🎬

Yeah ! I never get tired of listening. He is so passionnate, masters the subject so much and he is interesting.

It will be difficult to have other scoops ( The last live show was only a few days ago ! ), but we can have more details about certain things. :)

Who among you may be present live ?

More information is always good. I realize 2 consoles cannot be used at the same time since games are tied to the controller as well, but can the accounts and therefore the games be transferred between consoles just not at once? Really looking forward to the founders edition. Hopefully, down the line a way to utilize cartridges will be devised as well.

Hmm...  I don't know if it's what you mean, but reading this, a question appeared in my head.

With Blu Ray and cartridge, my son can bring Game A at his friend's house and play the game. Meanwhile, I can play game B at home.

With Amico, if My son is bringing his controller, he will be able to play with Game A to Z !

But Meanwhile, will it be possible for me to play with Game B at home ! ?

If not, How can we do it ? My son should bring game A , and C to Z at his friend's house, So I will be able to play with Game B ?

Thank you.

Say something insane like a sonic by original team sonic.  That's epic news if that ever happens

That will take me a little more time.   :)

I was thinking about the amico controller and  thought about spy vs spy which could be a pretty cool game for multiplayer imagine having  instead of 2 spys, you have 4 to 8.

I had the nes version when I was a kid. I never got around to getting the xbox 360 one.

Totally!

I had it on my Apple II.

Definitely on our list!

And you're 100% correct about the controllers and touch screen.  Would be so cool!!

Really appreciate Tommy !

Everything you do for us it's really exciting. (We know after E3 it will be time to concentrate on casual players ! :) )

I hope we will see some action from Skiing. After Snafoo, it's the second most played game by my son on Intellivision Lives !

When I showed him the 3 pictures from the new ski game, he was really excited just at looking at "players ski pass" ! :) lol   He love it !

Yes.  I believe I'll be showing some Skiing footage as well.

Never count me out for scoops & exclusives.  :)

I try to give a little something new each and every interview.

All depends on the questions asked though.

We're not 100% sure if we will allow that or not.  We are working on solution... but opening one door sometimes leads to 10 others opening and inviting easy piracy.  So we need to be careful.

But this is a good reason for people to purchase the physical media as this will be possible with those versions.

Don't count out cartridges just yet.  ;)

No.  Not if he is playing Game B at his friends.  But if they download Game C... then you can play Game B.

In other words... if only one product is purchased... then only 1 product can be played at a single time.  Just like if it was physical media!  If your son had physical media "Game B" at his friends... you wouldn't be able to play it at home anyway.  :)

The idea would be for your son's friend to purchase the game immediately so they have their own version (which would free up yours at home).

By the way, regarding the Intellivision sales: VGChartz says the Atari 2600 sold 27 millions: 23 in the USA, 4 in Europe and 1 in the rest of the world (and 0 in Japan). Can we assume a similar percentage for the Mattel Intellivision (i. e. 4 millions in total with 3 in the USA and around 1 million in the rest of the world, most of them in Europe?

Atariage user Rev collected the serial numbers and posted them on his website. http://www.intellivisionrevolution.com/Intellivision-serial-number-database

You can see all the US models there.  Unfortunately the Canadian serial numbers are lost in there and I think Mattel had a seperate serial number series for Canada.

I think Mr. Me probably knows better than I do regarding where the Intellivisions are.  He knows a lot about this.  I believe your guesstimates are correct though.  Mr. Me?  What do you know?

Rev's serial number database has nothing for Mexico, South America, Africa, and Asia (Australia is there).  If you've got some big Mattel numbers there it could change things. And recently an INTV made intellivision was found in Arabic.  I'm a bit surprised the middle east is a priority today; maybe I shouldn't be I heard they even like skiing there.  Or is it india that's the focus there.

Rfid cartridges that you don't plug-in perhaps; shaped like Mattel cartridges.

Sounds like the Amico interface will have a check-out-to-controller feature to facilitate portability.  Seems like they're open to the idea of reselling/transferring user game licenses.  It's right to protect against piracy but I think it's less of a concern when the pricing is so reasonable.

Too good of an exchange not to post

Tommy Recommends Adding the VCS.png

Only Amico can be found in the stores. Amico games can be found in stores too.

Analogue Pocket and Polymega can be bought on the internet only with limited numbers.

Both emulate old consoles. Not very new.

Playdate? At least it's an original handheld game. Probably only available on the internet and its games. And they are limited in numbers too.

Not worth it.

Mods don't even bother to pin Ataribox thread in Atari 2600 forum.

All good points - I think both the VCS and Gameboard One should also be on there. Both gaming devices with a store (we hope).

Which one from the trailer will be the other one ??  It have to be an Intellivision owned properties.

My bet is on Night Stalker !

Not Night Stalker.

But how could I not have thought about it !!!

It's Shark Shark of course !!! Young girls and Grand Parents will more likely play with Shark Shark instead of Night Stalker !!
