I do wish there was going to be an orange Amico so I could put my blue Broncos sticker on it however! 😄

I thought the limited editions were going to be priced at $279. Why is the price listed at GameStop $299?

I think that this may be a case of much ado about nothing. They are probably still all renders. I'm sure that Tommy will start showing off the final versions to us prior to the public. Yeah color is so subjective, I am actually a little more excited for the new purple, but of course it is understandably if people like the old one. I also like the white base console better but most people seem to go for the black. On the wood grain & gold - it is sacred and no #*&*@#(@*# had better say otherwise 😜

Tommy, I was thinking about Nigh Stalker, and how we're going to use the controller.

Do we move the character with the disc pad, and we shoot by pressing on the screen ?
In this case the screen would be divided into 8 parts to have the 4 directions and the 4 diagonals ?

With the announcement you made recently concerning the physical buttons,
I was wandering if it will be possible to stick the disc button on the screen of the Amico controller,

and thus be able to play as if we had 2 joysticks (2disc-pad) ? 🤔

It could be really interesting ! 😀

I'm with you. Something about it is just too flat. The original render was super shiny and this new render looks like a sticker or skin put on the console. I was particularly excited about the chrome/gloss on the controllers and how the shiny plastic melded with the shiny purple. 

I'm probably being overly-negative but I guess I had it in my mind a certain way. Hoping Tommy will assuage our fears or perhaps show an exclusive look at a real, in person prototype version.

Neither ! I live in Montreal and don’t watch football except for the Super Bowl when there is a party ! 🙂 but I once saw a Jets VS 49ers exhibition game in Montreal way back since my brother was a big Jets fan. 😎

I would be really cool if the Amico becomes so popular that someone like dbrand starts making skins for it. The white & black would make pretty good blank canvases for some real customization.

Good idea! I humbly suggest the color of bleach for that version.

EDIT: By the way, I just finished Larry V for MS-DOS and the Donald is there. He doesn't appear, but there's the Tramp Casino, Tramp Hotel, Tramp this, Tramp that... And Patti, one of the playable characters, dreams about kissing a mysterious Donald in a yacht. Then there's Ivana Tramp, who rents skates because she's having trouble "after her divorce". I didn't know about this until I found it in the game, it was cool.

Let's try to avoid making politically-laden statements, please, even in jest.  There's no way of knowing who might be set off by them, and that would only create problems we don't need.

Man,I sure hope you wrong.

Mostly because I wanted and ordered the Purple,I hope it doesn't disappoint. 

I would figure at the price,it will be the nicer looking version.

I believe it was said that the disc is used for moving your character and that you tap on the screen where you want to shoot.  I don't think it's limited to 8 directions, which is why you see characters shooting in so many different directions in the video.  You can also press and hold the screen to make a more accurate shot.

EDIT: actually I shouldn't be going here. I withdraw that joke. 

In Spanish they mean "female magician", so I was kind of confused when I saw some users using that word on their nicknames or signatures in Spain.

Back to the Amico, I think I spent like 10 tense minutes looking at the screen, paralyzed, trying to decide between black and white for the VIP edition.

I liked the black one better but I only will play with my family, so I ended up choosing the white one. But it was a weird situation, I wasn't sure if the consoles were going to sell out and I was choosing a color for 10 minutes as if I was a 10 year old kid.
