Seconded!  Because of the relative obscurity of the ECS, not enough people got to appreciate Mind Strike back in the day ... and it's the kind of game that would be a good fit for the Amico.

This was my immediate connection on hearing that interview as well. It's certainly not what I was hoping for the final pack-in game (Had fingers crossed for Cloudy Mountain myself)-- but this does look like good family fun and will show off some parts of the system and controller that the other pack-ins won't. 

So @Tommy Tallarico I have a question about the gamestop pre orders .does all versions on console come with.the $25 giftcard or just the.galthy.purple ?  I know you said gamestop was still updating ,so just wanted to know. I haven't peordered yet waiting to go back at work and then I'll be able to (hopfully next 2 to 4 weeks)   Just deciding if I should order at fig or just order at my local gamestop when they re open.as that way I can.pick up and not have to deal with the hassle of taking off workin.hopes its delivered on.time.    but.if its not ill.jp

FWIW only the Galaxy Purple listing mentions the $25 card.

I have a question for Tommy. I’m hoping to Pre-order 6 extra controllers for day one, but I will be wanting 2 of each color (three different colors) with a charging station for each 2 pack. I’m wondering if there are plans to have extra controllers available at launch and if so then what colors are planned ? I’m talking about 2 packs with a charging station included.

From what Tommy Says, Activision won't support the system until they see if it's a success, then they'll be all in. So maybe in year 2. Diner is an in house Intellivision product, so I'm sure they've got plans for that eventually.

Yes, hopefully Amico succeeds.  Only time will tell.  It'll be nice to get some Activision titles on Amico.  If Diner does come to Amico, there should be a physical version because the original was rare.

Color the Dinosaur 2 confirmed for the Amico.  JK  Although coloring program or any art program may be a good idea to make for the Amico to spark people creativity.  It has the wheel, has the touch pad to draw image in an area on screen.  Button on the side to select tools or use different colors.

I do like Color the Dinosaur.  Looking at that game(debug mode looking at the PPU viewer), it looks simple.  But on the programming side, it looks pretty difficult, since it only have 256 8x8 tiles for each picture, and has to use CHR-RAM.  The way it has to paint in the color and the pattern into the cells must not have been easy to do.

Just finished watching the video with Tommy, JT, Papa Pete,and CMretro. Great video.

Tommy said he would do Vectrex next if Amico was successful.  I hope the Amico does well so that he can bring us Vectrex.  Also, having Star Wars: The Arcade Game as a pack in would be awesome.  That would sell like hotcakes.

It's like you're going through my parents' closet. Next someone will add Mexican Train into the mix.  These are all good suggestions.  And now, I'm seeing Crokinole everywhere.  What is happening?

Bad news for gamers, good news for Amico. Looks like Sony and Microsoft can bluff for now saying their systems and hardware arent being effected by the virus, the same cant be said for the games for those system. Since these new games require huge teams, its looks to be causing quite the delay in the creation of said new games, so its becoming logical to say.. Why would you pay 500+ for an SexBox of PS5 this fall if the games arent ready?   

Being small and nimble has its advantages and the Amico may have an opportunity to take advantage of the situation

Not sure why but I just had a vision... kind of like Demolition Man with Sylvester and Sandra.... and in about 30 years after the Big One in California... all that is left is a Vegan Restaurant chain and everyone... I mean everyone, will own an Amico 2050... and playing cribbage, various family games.... and remembering the "olden" days of 2020 when Amico 1st came out...

So, what will Amico 2050 have on it?

Oh by the way... hope Sandra Bullock is there in 2050 to play Amico with.
