If you are in the Albany area?  I saw Springsteen with the Seeger Sessions Band at SPAC- Saratoga Springs and a few other shows at the Pepsi Center? I think it's called in Albany.

It is only about 2 hours away.  So it is as easy to see a show in that area as Boston etc.

 

When we can "gather" again, we need an East Coast retro gaming expo!  I wanted to go to the Philly Classic, but never made it

I tried to grow a beard but my wife did not like be married to a teenager struggling through puberty LOL .  Check out my vids from March  that was my Covid attempt at a beard LOL

I too loved the races at Riverside and Stafford Springs CT. I returned to a race in Stafford Raceway for the first time in almost 40 years last spring!

Thank you.  This is the just the latest example of the complaints of "censorship" we've had to put up with for months now.  When someone critical of the Amico comes here, and misbehaves to the point where we have to take steps—not even a full-on ban, just blocking them from specific threads—it must be because the mods are biased, or because we're "protecting Tommy," or we're "in Tommy's pocket," or "on Tommy's payroll," or any number of other tiresome refrains that they're still hitting us with, months after the fact.  It's just another indication of their bias, against Tommy or against the community or both, and of their refusal to acknowledge the full picture, no matter how often or in how many ways we've tried to explain it to them.

This latest case was a clear violation of our community guidelines and rules, which are unambiguous about forbidding multiple accounts.  AtariAge is Albert's site, and the decision to enforce those rules was his call to make.  If @Papy or anyone else doesn't like it, they should take it up with him, or take their discussions elsewhere.

That is a really nice Air Strike mockup box,maybe the only one I dont have a reproduction box of an unreleased intellivision game for.

@1:04:18 Tommy describes the safe cracker game. It makes me think if how the controller will be used on the other games. My son and I were talking about how games consoles for over 20 years hasn't really changed and that people that are hating on this system are really missing the mark. This controller is really advanced.

So question for Tommy if it is allowed. Can you describe how aome of tye other games will use this controller?  Namely games that haven't been brought up before. The flying game comes to mind

Your right - that argument is literally like imagining every coloring book in the world comes with an standard 8 pack of Crayola colors (your typical dual analog stick setup) and now Tommy wants to make his own color book and it comes a few colors that are the same (shoulder buttons, force feedback) and bunch that are different (speaker, screen, disc) from than the standard pack. OMG! how are you going color without Black, this thing is abomination and is going to fail!. Then Tommy says, well we designed our coloring book so you don't need black, all of our pictures are really colorful. OMG! you can color anything you want on our coloring books already, and the Swap coloring book has one totally different crayon already - why would anyone need *your* book? Tommy: Well the Swap is great but we wanted to make a really different coloring book that has brighter colors and simpler pictures that are more fun for people of all ages to color in. OMG!... 🙄

Tommy was also mentioning the microphone game as being "a system seller". Seems like it is testing really high and since it is built in and is a party game, it may 'self advertise' to everyone who played it on a friend's Amico.

If you already have the headphones you buy a Bluetooth receiver that plugs into your headphone jack on the tv that’s what I did works great

you know what was a cool and underrated game? Mind Strike for the ECS..i bought Mind Strike and Scooby Doo with my ECS in 1983 and played Mind Strike way more
